| Who and What we Teach: We teach children ages 7-17 in our weekly day camps. Our hours typically run from 8AM until 11AM with snacks and drinks provided Monday through Thursday. Camps alternate between surf and hikes to nearby tidal marshes and Carolina Beach State Park. We will notify parents as to where to drop children off for the day. Carolina Surf Adventures will provide soft surfboards or bodyboards for each child to use for the week. Our students are taught ocean safety, surf etiquette, and receive surfing or bodyboarding instruction. We also provide helpful knowledge about intertidal animals and ocean dwelling animals. This is a hands-on experience so be prepared to get dirty! If you have a group of friends with whom you want to learn to surf with,we will be happy to assist you. Ask about our adult surf lessons as well. Our Weekender camps include a surf lesson, lunch,and a hike which includes a conservation lesson. Rates are as follows: • Kid Camp- $225 a week • Private Lessons- Campers- $30 an hour • Non-Campers-$45 an hour • Weekender- $90/Saturday or Sunday $160- Saturday and Sunday |
